I also made two mini quilts out of the spare blocks that I had.
I really wasn't sure if I like it when I first finished; however, it is kind of growing on me now! I just have to cut the backs and make some binding, then off to my sister to quilt. Jaxon was watching me as I finished it the other night and wanted to know how I was going to make it "all stick together so he could use it". When I told him that I was going to have Aunt Emily quilt it, he just automatically inferred "mama, you can't quilt, just Aunt Emily?" That's correct little man!!

A project...
In the midst of all of the fun times this weekend, I found a little bit of time to sew. I made a quilt top out of some vintage linens. The majority of the quilt is made from some linens that Granny Shahan (Josh's late grandmother) had. Then, I added a few other pieces too.
Once again, my poor photography skills are shown in all of these photos! The lighting doesn't really do it justice either. It is mostly bright, primary colors.

I LOVE it!! I think it turned out really good. I'll have to make one with this pattern now after seeing yours done! I could teach you how to quilt if you want!!
Crap! I passed up a sheet like that green and yellow and white striped one. Now that I see how cleverly you used it I am mad at myself. LOL!
This quilt is adorable!
