Independence

Ava has started to exercise her independence more and more lately.
She loves to try to dress herself...especially when I'm trying to get her undressed!
Typically, she views the arm holes of the clothing as where her legs should go.
She'll then get frustrated when she can't keep the top (or really bottom) part of her dresses up!

She's also decided that she no longer likes to take a bath.
For the last two weeks, we've had to fight her to get her into the tub.
Once in the there, she refuses to sit and screams the entire time.
It's just lovely, really.
We've now opted for the "every other night bath" routine so as to not have to fight her as often!
There were even a few nights that she chose to sit in time out and even go to bed early over taking a bath!
I have no idea what sparked this, but I'm sure hoping she outgrows it soon!

Who really wants to take a bath? I mean it takes way too much time out of "play time!"

Ava, some mornings, I think I have probably put my dresses on the same way.

Haha! Your kids are awesome! I can't believe Jaxon went in the ring to get the duct tape off the calves! That boy has some guts. It was craziness!

Poor Ava! Life is rough when you can't get your dresses on right AND you have to take baths!
