Usually about once or twice a week, Jaxon's teacher informs us that Jaxon either didn't listen very well or didn't take a nap; and Ava is always "good as usual" per her teacher. However, last week Ava was the one causing all of the trouble. First off, she took another classmates bottle from her and drank it herself!! Then, later in the week, her and another classmate (a 16 month old boy) got into a scratching and slapping match over a toy...the teacher said that they both came out with some scrapes and scratches!! Our first thought was, great...our 9 month old is the "bully" of the class!! Then we were thinking about how she could know how to do these kinds of things so early...oh yeah, she has a 3 year old brother that is always pestering her!!!
Here's just a clip of what he usually does to her (and this one is not as bad as usual because it doesn't even include the moves where he lays on top of her or pins her with his legs)...
I guess that she has just learned early on how to try to defend herself from the wrath of Jaxon...and then assumes that all other kids are just like him!! Also, Josh's other comment about the whole situation was: "I knew that she was a true Meller, I just didn't know that she was Brandi Meller"!!!
