This trip was long overdue, as it had been awhile since our last visit.
These spooky ghosts are now adorning the trees along the end of our drive.
First stop was in Olathe at Mike, Misty, and Kian's house.
We went to a local fall festival on Saturday.
This event had the biggest jump houses and slides that I have ever seen.
As you can imagine, they were a hit with the kids!
Later that evening, Mike planned a craftin' project for the kids.
They all made ghosts out of styrofoam balls and cheese cloth.
They had lots of fun!

Our next stop was Richmond to visit our best friends new little baby girl.
Proud Aunt Kayla came out for a visit while we were there too.
Big brother Simon has grown so much since we saw him last!
I made Emerson this little quilt and my sister, Emily quilted it for me (Thanks again, Emily!)
Her gender was a surprise, so the quilt was gender neutral; however, now it looks more boyish now next to her pink clothes!
She was very much into snuggling, so every time I laid her down on the quilt, she gave me that pick me up squirm and look, and I of course couldn't resist!
This is the front.
And this is the back.
Jaxon was so excited to see Kurt and Carrie's soybean fields.
He had been asking me all of kinds of questions about soybeans the weeks prior, so I was glad to have Kurt answer some of his questions!
Kurt took all the bigger kids out to the fields to show them the beans.
Jaxon showing Ava and Simon his peeled beans.
He was SO excited!
Jaxon and Terran picked soybeans for several hours.
Jaxon took his soybeans to school the next day to show all of his friends.
I keep finding little bags of them all over the house!
There's nothing better than a new little baby!
And little Emerson is oh SO sweet!
She loved to snuggle!
