One of Jaxon's friends from school had a birthday party at the roller skating rink a few weeks back.
I was a little skeptical at first of how four and five year olds could roller skate, but they actually did really well.
The rink had these walker things that the kids could push around to keep their balance.
Pretty simple, but clever invention!
The kids couldn't wait to get skating.
They even did the limbo.
It was cute.
And yes, there really was a referee out on the rink to keep the kids moving in the right direction!
About mid-way through the party, a lot of the kids were going walker-less...and doing rather well!
Here's a video clip of Jaxon showing off his moves...
All of the kids had a great time and it was very entertaining to watch!
Jaxon is already asking when he gets to skate again.
