Our big boy had to get tubes put in his ears again today.
He had them when he was 15 months old; however, they didn't last too terribly long.
We had noticed that his hearing wasn't very good recently, so he was sent to an ENT for evaluation.
Sure enough, he still had lots of gunk (or epoxy like material, as the doctor put it) in his ear canal which was causing the hearing loss.
The doctor compared his hearing loss to having foam ear plugs in at all times. Poor guy!
So, we opted for tubes again to let all of that fluid drain our and improve his hearing.
He did awesome today. Just had a little nausea and vomiting after the anesthesia, but back up to par now!
