Love

Last night when I got home from work, I sat down on the couch to hold the kids and talk to them about their day.  As I was talking to them, I told them that I loved them so much.  Jaxon quickly replied with "Mom, do you want to know how much I love you?".  Of course, I said!  His response:

     "Mom, I will love you until penguins howl at the moon and the stars in the sky turn into fish.  And that stuff will NEVER happen, which means that I will love you FOREVER!"

That made me smile and bring a tear to my eye all at the same time and is doing the same as I sit here and write this post now.  Oh, how I love my kids!

And since I've been so bad about blogging or taking pictures lately, I'll share a picture taken by my sister, Emily:

This picture was taken at our house for Reid's cake smash pictures.  Speaking of that, little Mr. Reid turned one this week.  I still can't believe how quickly he has grown up!  You can check out pictures from his party and cake smash session here.  I still need to blog about the party and other stuff, but my track record right now isn't so good, so I'm not making any promises!  I'm knee-deep in writing papers and such...oh, how I can't wait for winter break :)
