Jaxon started kindergarten.
He was so excited!

Ava thought it was all so much fun until she had to go into preschool WITHOUT Jaxon.
She's never had to do that before.
It was pretty sad, but she got over it quickly.
Josh said that Jaxon was grinning from ear to ear when he picked him up this afternoon.
He said that he had an awesome day.
He got to meet several new friends and teachers.
His favorite part of the day was getting "to go outside FOUR times".
He had two recesses and then walked outside to go to and from the cafeteria.
Not sure why that was so exciting, but he made sure to tell everyone about it when they called him this evening.
He also informed us that since this "was a special day, we should go out for dinner at ApplePee's tonight".
How could we tell him no?
ApplePee's it was!
He was on top of the world.
As we finished up dinner, I asked him if he was excited for tomorrow.
His response: "I'm not only excited, but I CANNOT, CANNOT, CANNOT wait to go back tomorrow!"
What a great day it was!

So glad he had such a great day!!! I loved hearing about it tonight on the phone!! He looks so grown up in his tucked in shirt and belt!
Ahhhhhh! Makes me teary eyed thinking about it. Maybe cuz I realize Benjamin isn't too far behind. I am sure I will be a mess! He looks so handsome in his school uniform!
he looks adorable and so grown up in his little outfit....unreal to me still but glad he is enjoying it!
