Happy Easter!

We had a wonderful Easter weekend!
Lots of family time.  Lots of fun.

Jaxon was very excited that the Easter bunny brought him an M-I-Z-Z-O-U shirt, as he says!

Here are my best two attempts at getting a picture of both kids before church...

Trying to get both kids looking at the camera at the same time without goofy smiles really doesn't happen anymore!

The Meller cousins.  I was impressed that we got them to stay together long enough for a picture!

Aunt Emily made the kids "gumdrop" pillows.  They are kind of like bean bags, but function more as seats and ottomans.  The kids LOVE them.

We colored dozens of eggs throughout the weekend.

Note the large wet spot on the newspaper.  Yep, Ava spilled the dye almost immediately.

After the eggs dried, Ava picked hers up and pretty much ripped it to pieces.  I thought that it was kind of funny at first, until I went to clean up the mess!  Ava found it funny the entire time though.

The kids hunted lots of eggs.

It didn't take Ava too long to get the hang of the egg hunt.

The fun-filled weekend made for a tired crew come Monday morning, but all so worth it!
