Party Prep

Jaxon and Ava's valentine's day parties at school are today.  So, we finished up their valentine's and treats last night...no need to do anything in advance, right?!

Jaxon helped make these fun whiligig's.  He did an excellent job of writing his name and adding the paperclips to the bottom of each of them.

He then had to test them out.  When you drop them, they twirl the whole way down to the ground.  Fun stuff.  Oh, and I promise, he does wear clothes...every now and then!

For treats, we made some brownies in fun, heart-shaped cupcake liners and added sprinkles (Jaxon's favorite topping).  We also made mini, heart-shaped rice krispee treats; dipped them in pink chocolate, and added sprinkes, of course!
Jaxon put all of the goodies into bags.  He's holding up his hand saying "stop taking pictures of me, Mom".
Notice that he has clothes on now...they may be Christmas pajamas, but still clothes!

Ava is still a little young, but she also took treats and handmade valentine's to school also.  Cute little heart fish with various sayings like "You're a reel catch, and glad you're in my school".
Ava missed out on the baking and crafting, as she was in bed long before it was completed!

I'm sure that they will be wound up when they get home from school today.  Lots of fun and treats!

Wow, I am so impressed! First off, with how much time you spent on the valentine's and how awesome they turned out to be, and Second, pretty darn impressed with Jaxon that he writes his own name!
