Branson Weekend

A few weekends ago, we went to Branson for an extended weekend. We had a really good time and the kids got to do lots of fun stuff. First up was lots of rides at Silver Dollar City...
(Jaxon is actually in this tea cup; however, you couldn't see him because he wasn't taller than the edge of the cup!) (Mommy and Ava watching everyone ride the tea cups!)

(Jaxon and I waiting for the roller coaster to take off. Mike and Rowan had to wait until the next go around.)

(Mike and Rowan are in the very last car.)

(Ava and Josh on the "Flooded Mine" where we road a boat through tunnels and shot guns at targets.) Next stop in Silver Dollar City was "Kids Connection". It was an AIR CONDITIONED room where the kids got to play with learning toys...it was great for both the kids and the adults!! They had this foam stuff that the kids could shape into anything that their imagination could think of...

There were also some other toys and activities in Kids Connection...

Next stop...the water park area of Silver Dollar City. I don't have any pictures of the big kids (which includes Galen) playing in the water because it consisted of tons of water guns that everyone was crazily shooting at one another...the camera would have been ruined! I do have some pictures of Ava though. There was an area of soft mats that had holes in them. Water would randomly squirt up. She absolutely loved it!!

Two of the mornings, we took the kids up to the playground...

(Papa and Ava just hanging out!)
(Ava loved the slide. She would start giggling when I just sat her at the top!)
On Sunday evening, Josh thought that he would try to wear out the kids by having them spin around in circles with their head on a golf club. It was pretty amusing watching them attempt to walk afterwards!
And, what would a trip to Branson be without riding go-karts?!
We played in the pool Monday morning before heading back home...
